What We Cover In The Video Above:
Whether or not you are happy with the way your landing pages perform, we highly recommend that you run some A/B split tests. We haven’t run any for a long time on some of our sites (we constantly do on a few of our main ones) and have left a lot of money on the table… Don’t worry though, it’s a lot easier than it sounds.
It used to be a little complicated but with Google Analytics it’s now a lot simpler. A/B split testing doesn’t necessarily involve major changes. Sometimes a few minor changes can make a big difference.
In this video, we talk about a recent split test we ran for the SocialMonkee homepage. We compare conversion rates, and talk about the change we made. We then show you how to create a new experiment in Google Analytics, so you too can run split tests.
We also briefly discuss what to split test and show you how to set up the split test code. The best part is that once you know how to run split tests, you will actually enjoy doing it!
Content here has been slow as im launching a new site and have some other things behind the scenes going on. For this reason I’ve decided that December we wont have a contest, but will start it up again in January. Here is me paying the winner of the last one 🙂 Good work Karen
BTW… Dont have your speakers too loud, for some reason the volume on this recording is VERY loud, and yes, if you watch closely you will see I did misspell commenting in my haste to get it done fast 🙂 Sorry for that Karen
